Open Studio With Antony Zito June 23 2023

Local artist Antony Zito will be taking over the Strange Ways Studio for a day of live painting! This is an awesome opportunity to watch an artist at work, learn from his techniques, and perhaps inspire you to pick up a paint brush! Zito will also have pieces available for sale, so local art collectors take note.

This event is free to attend, though we strongly encourage you to support local art in any way you can!

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Antony Zito is known for painting portraits and murals on the streets of NYC's Lower East Side and in North Central Connecticut. The New York Post has called his portrait paintings “sensual” and his renderings of people on recycled materials other than canvas have prompted The Village Voice to refer to him as “a master of the found object”. His work has been exhibited and collected throughout the US, UK, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium and Japan. In between his other projects, he teaches art out of his home in East Granby, Connecticut.
