A classic art history painting by female artist Artemisia Gentileschi now turned into a modern fashion statement patch. Although the painting depicts a scene from the Bible, Gentileschi drew herself as Judith and her mentor Agostino Tassi, who was tried for and convicted of her rape, as Holofernes. The ultimate bloody revenge tableau painted back in 1620.

Large patches may need to be reinforced, especially over time. This can be done with spot stitching or fabric glue at corners, or anywhere adhesion has become undone.By Inner Decay
