Pansy Art Print (8" x 10")
$ 7.99
This series of paintings by Emily Winfield Martin hopes to capture the elegance and liveliness of blooming things. Inspired by portraits from the 1930's and 1940's and beautiful gardens, each variety of flower is “embodied” by a girl or lady sitting for their portrait.
Says the artist of this piece: “I have a soft spot in my heart for pansies and violas. Their petiteness, their ubiquity, their bright eyes... I imagine a girl named Pansy would be quite prim, but with a little mischievous je ne sais quoi.”
